9. USE OF COOKIES

In order to make visiting our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. Cookies are used to make the website more user-friendly and effective. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e., after you close your browser (session cookies). Other cookies remain on your terminal device and enable us or our partner companies to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually about their acceptance or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

The legal basis for the use and storage of essential, technically and functionally necessary cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free provision of our website.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have activated IP anonymization on this website by adding the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" so that your IP address is truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. There may be a data transfer to the USA, which is secured by the agreement of standard data protection clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) lit. c DSGVO.

When configuring Google Analytics, care was taken to ensure that Google receives this data as a processor. Google also uses the data for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its own offer. In doing so, Google may link the data with other data of the user (such as search history, personal accounts, usage data of other devices and any other data that Google has on this user). The collected data is automatically deleted in Google Analytics after 14 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month. The legal basis for data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can revoke your consent to the use of Google Analytics at any time with effect for the future.

We may no longer process your personal data as a result of the objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

If the personal data concerning you is processed for the purposes of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purposes of such marketing (Article 21(2) of the GDPR).

You can address your objection to the contact details mentioned under point 1.
